Hotline to the Investigation Department

If you suspect that there may have been a violation of the Restrictive Trade Practices Law or if you have encountered activity that endangers competition in the marketplace (e.g., restrictive arrangements, abuse of a monopoly position), you can contact the Chief Investigator at the Israel Antitrust Authority directly from this page.

As in any investigation, assistance from the general public is crucial for investigations carried out by the IAA’s Investigation Department.  The public’s assistance in bringing to our attention incidents in which competition is endangered is of irreplaceable value.

You can also contact us in connection with matters that are already being handled by the Investigation Department, if you believe that you are able to contribute to the advancement of such matters.

The more detailed your statement, the more efficient and quick the handling of the matter can be.

You are not required to provide any identifying details, unless you wish to do so.  However, as a rule, we treat reports that are not provided anonymously much more seriously.

It is important that your provide details that allow us to make further contact, in order for us to be able to respond to your questions and for cases in which we wish to receive additional clarifications and details beyond the material provided to us, in order to make the handling of your report more efficient.

We will treat your reports and details with complete confidentiality, and only the Chief Investigator will be aware of them.  However, the content of a report will be passed on to other officials within the IAA for investigation and further actions.
